Tom Kha Gai
(Herbed Chicken Soup in Coconut Milk)

This soup is unique in flavour
and  style, one notduolicated
in any other country.

Ingredients

1) 1 cup sliced chicken breast.
2) 2 tablespoons sliced kha.
3) ½ teaspoon turmeric poeder or fresh turmeric
4) 3-4 pieces som khaeng
5) 1-2 tablespoons fishsauce
6) 2 cups coconut milk.
7) 3 shallots, lightly crushed.
8) 3-5 mouse-shit chillies (phrik kee noo)
9) 1 red chili, shredded.
10) coriander leaves.
11) 1 cup thick coconut milk.

 

Preparations

a) Heat coconut milk unit almost boiling, then add
    2, 3, 4 and 7.
b) Wait until boiling, add 1. Keep stirring, marking
     sure that coconut milk does not lump.
c) Season with 5 and 8
d) Simmer until chicken is tender
e) Stir in 11 , garnish with 9 and 10
